• My US Senior Women’s Open Application has been sent in and accepted. (YAY!)
  • The Qualifying Event is set for Tuesday, April 23rd at Briarwood Country Club in Sun City, AZ.

Practice time and blogging have been limited with January through April being the busiest teaching time of year in Arizona along with the tournament season for my PING junior interclub team.  (It’s very rewarding to be a coach!)

Thanks to Peggy Briggs – for getting me out to practice and onto the course to work on playing strategies.  There is no substitute for playing the game, as range practice rarely creates the same situations and decisions that you’ll need to make while playing.

Thanks to Eddie Kilthau for working with me to make my swing more efficient & predictable, helping me lower my ball flight and for taking me to play a practice round.

Thanks to Srixon for fitting me with clubs (585 Irons, hybrids, 3Wood, Driver and Cleveland RTX wedges)!

Two week Game Plan:   Fitness (walking 18 holes is required and that equates to nearly 5 miles), Short Game, Short Game, Short Game and course time.  Adrenaline, excitement, nerves and dreams…All good!

The USGA will publish more details about the qualifier 7 days before the event and I'll be sure to share.
